Successful meeting of Microfinance clients

On Wednesday, March 5, almost all clients who received a micro-credit through the foundation in the past year were present at the center in Tujereng. Lamin Kinteh, Pah Gibril, Ebrima Sarr, Alieu Bitaaye, Mariama Gassama, Mariama Jobe and Mariama Diba were picked up by Ebrima in the morning with the Small-Steps bus. An excellent meeting in which many experiences were exchanged under the leadership of Ebrima. It is extremely confronting that a large number of clients had negative experiences when it comes to theft, fraud and actually abuse of the position of people with disabilities… So you see again what a vulnerable group we have here! Yet no one is discouraged and together we try to learn from it! Many good tips were given and we are happy to see that in general everyone is doing quite well! Unfortunately, Mr. Njie and Oumie (heavily pregnant) and Fatou Jabang are not present. It has been agreed that we will meet again at the end of May. We will therefore see if we can invite someone who can give a “lesson in economics”. Because there is a lot involved in such a company. Of course there is the group photo!
