Caring4Mobility donates wheelchairs and walking crutches to our center

Great! Last month, a wheelchair was donated to our center by the Caring4Mobility foundation. We are of course very happy with this, because it means that we can also receive people with disabilities in our center for training who do not have a wheelchair themselves. This way we were able to pick up Fatou for the first time and she was able to braid hair for a morning. Fatou is a woman who never leaves her compound due to her disability, so the presence of a wheelchair also breaks social isolation!

And Mohamed was also very happy that we were able to obtain a good walking crutch for him from the above-mentioned foundation, because he walked with a crooked children’s crutch. So much too low! He went back home with a big smile!  Sometimes it only takes so little to make people’s lives a little more pleasant! Many thanks to Brit and her foundation!
